THE NEW ROME ANTICS - New EP out 24th July 2026
It’s been too long, but the wait is nearly over; Daniall Lee is back with his first EP in almost a year.
Retro-Futurism is the flavour-of-the-month, with this collection demonstrating Dan’s effortless mastery of Synthpop. The driving synth-bass of lead track, ‘Attempt to Stay Relevant’, sets the tone, arriving via Tardis from 1981 to infect you with its insanely catchy melodies. The anthemic ‘Delusions of Grandeur’ continues in a similar vein, and another new song, ‘On Top of The World’, brings a funky minimalism to proceedings. To close, the original studio recording of longstanding live favourite ‘Sleepyhead’, now enhanced by the gorgeous voice of Ciara Mary, finally sees the light of day.
This is arguably one of the more coherent of Daniall’s assemblages so far. Does it signpost a clearer direction for his future work? Don’t bank on it…
To celebrate its release, Dan will be performing all the tracks, along with several others from his expanding oeuvre, at a Launch Party at The Artisan Tap.

Despite fierce competition from some of Liverpool’s best young unsigned acts, Daniall was the winner at PRIMAL LIVE 2026, following an amazing event at The Invisible Wind Factory.
‘Primal Live has been an incredible experience,’ said Dan, ‘I’ve made some great friends, developed my performance skills with help from some of the best mentors in the city, and helped to raise a shedload of money for The Whitechapel Centre.
‘I’m hopeful that this will open-up lots of opportunities for me, and I’m looking forward to to supporting the team at future events.’
A big shout-out to Andy, Sam, JP, Jordan, Nina, Liam, Sophie, John and everyone involved in Primal Live for the fantastic work they do with emerging artists.
10TH NOVEMBER 2025
Daniall Lee is back with a new single, ‘Complicated’, releasing to all your favourite streaming platforms on 28th November.
Clever, quirky and with a staccato, stuttering delivery, this is one big, catchy mother of a tune! Once again exploring unfamiliar musical territory, it should come as no surprise by now that he never fails to surprise.

Daniall will be making his broadcast debut on 31st August!
The Honey Box is a live-streamed music TV show - A kind-of Jools Holland for emerging artists - which has been on-air since 2016 and is about to start its ninth season. Dan will be appearing in Episode 1 with Tyler Kent and Vox Americana.
The show will be filmed live at The Foxlowe Arts Centre in Leek, Staffordshire, and you can be in the studio audience by getting tickets here.
